Here We Go Again
It's been a coupla years since we messed with the website. We got sick of the lack of support from our old host so while we're changing stuff...
For those of you who joined us late WsQ is mostly an acoustic duo. Nancy and Braden Pastore have been doing music together since they met each other. They've been in all kinds of bands and played all kinds of songs. WsQ started as a side project in 2002 and just kinda took off. We don't know if it's the harmonies or the occasional on-stage bickering but for some reason people seem to connect with us.
We try to play a diverse setlist with more than 300 songs in our repertoire. They don't always come out perfect but we're pretty sincere about our music. We don't use any effects or sequences--everything is done live. We decided long ago to limit ourselves to covers because that's what people want to hear when they go out.
We try to get audience participation where it's allowed. We have a group of fans that have dubbed themselves the "Blowhards" that bring kazoos to every show and hum along when the song merits.
We have a number of musician friends that join us from time to time. When drums are required we usually call on our friend Jeff (the drummer) Bauer to sit in although we do use other drummers occasionally. If our friend Brian Caron (from the group SeeQuence) is in the house we inevitably coerce him into joining us on harmonica. The point is you never know what you're gonna get from one show to the next.

The Other Band
We weren't always an acoustic duo. Occasionally we get the itch to rock out. When this mood takes us we have The Other Band.
In this format we add Jeff the Drummer and Shawn the Guitar Player. Right now we've been doing mostly 90's music cuz it was a good decade but other stuff has been creeping in as we grow our setlist. We're trying to do music you just can't do well in a two piece band. We actually practice for this band and we like hanging out together.
If you're at all interested in TOB (yeah we like those acronames) here's a link to our Reverb Nation page:

Hire Us
WsQ is always looking for places to play. Sure we play at bars and clubs but we also play private functions. We've played birthday parties, weddings, biker bashes, yacht club affairs and provided music for city and town sponsored events both for profit and for charity. When the situation calls for it we can bring a drummer or other musicians to make your event extra special. You'd be surprised at just how affordable we are .
